About Roya J. Deyhim
Hawaii Estate Planning Attorney
Roya J. Deyhim received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University-Northridge in 1992. She earned various honors during her undergraduate studies, including recognition on the Dean's List. Roya graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the California Bar that same year. While she was a law student, Roya worked for a year as a judicial intern for the Los Angeles County Superior Court. For the ten years following her graduation from law school, Roya worked as a litigator in Los Angeles.
Since moving to Maui in 2005, Roya has changed the focus of her practice to estate planning, trust administration, asset protection planning, and nonprofit law. She enjoys stand up paddling and spending time with her husband James and their three dogs. She is a member and serves as the treasurer for the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea. She is a board member and instructor with Grants Central Station, a nonprofit organization providing educational workshops to nonprofits. She is on the boards of Imua Family Services and the Maui Pops Orchestra.
